Passenger Information

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission regulates the handling of lost property found in Taxicabs.  In the case of lost property, we suggest contacting 311 or the police precinct closest to where the passenger was discharged.  The applicable TLC rule is listed below.

54-18 Operations – Lost Property

(b) Handling of Lost Property.

(i) Property found by a Driver in a Taxicab must be returned to the Passenger  if possible; otherwise, it must be taken without delay to the police precinct  closest to where the Passenger was discharged.

For inquiries regarding lost property in one of our taxis, please contact the number below Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm or email us.

We’ll do our best to relay the information to the driver or with the driver’s consent provide you with their contact information.

  • Taxicab Medallion Number
  • Date and time of ride
  • Full description of items lost
  • Your contact information
